Because he’s not that good of a hitter.  Don’t get me wrong, he should be a really good backup IF, but those saying he should play over Madrigal were wrong.  Nick is going to be a legit good hitter even if the power is ultimately underwhelming.

Madrigal should honestly stay in the 9 hole for a long time. Having him before TA7 is just a good thing.

It should definitely his long-term home unless he starts hitting for power.

Especially when the rest of the lineup are all trying to hit homers. You need a contact guy to balance it out.
