Cease always leaves the bullpen in a bad position. Now they gotta cover 4 innings.

So should Minnesota

I don't understand why that is a bad call? Dylan missed his location spot by 12"....yet it's Grandal's fault. I don't get some of you.

Don’t call something your pitcher has shown all game he can’t spot?

Cease has stuff and as such can pitch over the peripherals.

He went 4.2 IP, allowed 10 base runners, and threw 100 pitches. Let’s not get carried away.

Playoff like feel to this one....lots of stress.

He did pretty well. Playoff atmosphere.  Had his change working.  That was progress.  Perfectly managed.  1 run is okay

One run yes. Not able to get though the 5th .  Asking a lot for the bullpen to cover 4 innings.

If they're not bludgeoning the opponent, the ball finds the Sox weakest links.

On this team it's Renteria-Cooper.

It will really manifest itself in the playoffs.

Full counts galore

With the exception of the changeup, it legitimately looks like the Twins know what pitch is coming every fucking time

Throw strikes please

Yeah he’s not someone I really want to see starting in the postseason.  Dunning has earned the 3rd spot over him so far.

This lineup is too stressful. Then they break through.

Walking ourselves to a L

Pitchers are trying to give the Twins this game.

Blaming grandal for cease not throwing strikes is like blaming your wifes extra 20lbs for your limp dick.

this inning sucks

This inning would have been long over if he didn't walk the 9 hitter on 4 pitches. That's really what it comes down to for Cease. Get better control.

this is so brutal to watch

So they should keep throwing fastballs

Like I said, not a single swing and miss on a breaking pitch all game.  They weren’t flinching on close ones

I thought Buxton hit a grand slam on that foul ball

Is Cease possibly tipping his pitches? (Breaking balls)

Don't you leave games when we are down 1 after 5?
