October 12, 20205 yr Rick called Tim this morning to tell him because Tim is the leader of this team.

October 12, 20205 yr Author The job changes with big data. Tools change, and you have to keep up with it. Does mention that this is not because guys who are out didn't embrace big data., Both had faclity with big data.
October 12, 20205 yr It is pretty obvious these guys are gone because of the bullpen the last week. RR made some bad decisions and Coop was either on board or didn't speak up.

October 12, 20205 yr What a great day for the Sox. RR is a great guy, but he showed that he was not able to take this team to the next level. The team that will be a perennial contender is going to need someone with experience. I'll be really surprised if the Sox don't end up hiring Hinch or Cora. Then, who would the new manager bring in as the pitching coach? Hopefully someone who will be willing to use statistical analysis and be ready for new technology.
