They did ask the Tony LaRussa hire question, and it was split down the middle with about half thinking it was good and half not so good, and it ranged from genius hire to total disaster. This is stupid. You can't take a guy with the 11th pick and then use him as a traditional reliever for 2 years.

If they expect Cease to be that bad then they should have done something more about rotation depth.

That won't get him to where he needs to be though for next year and future years starting. Needs to get to 80-100 pitches. Cant do that in the bullpen.
