That's the right call TLR.

Last year right field was a black hole offensively and this year it's looking like left field could be a black hole.

Thank you

Good bullpen call by LaRussa.

Would Ricky have left him in there?

Did I mention I'm looking forward to Vaughn in the lineup tomorrow?

I don't want Vaughn to be a platoon guy because he happens to hit right-handed.

I support this move 100%

Good move.

This is where Renteria would leave Gio in and get in trouble

This is one of the most important roles a manager plays, obviously. My gut says it's the right call here.

87 pitches for Giolito.

Mark Gubicza saying Lucas' facial expression upon being pulled reminded him of Adam on Chicago PD, lol.   Doing his own Benetti impression there.

Agreed. Gio has gotten lucky to only give up one. Two hardest hits of the game were lucky to be outs in the last few ABs

That's a managerial move I don't think you'd see Ricky make.

Lucas would probably convince him to keep him in.

Ricky would of came out, asked Giolito if he was okay.  Then he would of walked back to the dugout.  And after Trout hit a homer he would have pulled him.

Good start for Gio. That 4th inning really stressed his night.

gotta be old to get that one, but it's true.  at one point Leury was going to be a star, then again, so was Furcal.

Aren’t I older than you?

Honestly...any one of us could have managed that bullpen better than RR...how did he not see when his pitchers needed to be changed?

Or bring in Jimmy Biceps

Lets go Heuer!

I wonder why Lucas stopped throwing that nasty change from the first inning. I think I saw a few more that moved like that but nowhere near that type of horizontal movement.

Ah umpires.  The only ones who are worse at their jobs are weathermen.

100% agree.  Even if it doesn’t work out, I’m confident this was the smart move by LaRussa.  I’ll take my chances on this logic every single time.
