That’s a bad baseball game outside of Yermin.  When you have Grandal and Madrigal on the bench, there’s no excuse for Leury to get a big at bat.

That’s twice in three games.  Maybe La Russa doesn’t know what splits are, but Leury sucks from the left-side

The lack of pinch-hitting from a late game strategic genius, so called, is honestly mystifying.

This was a team that couldn't beat above 500 teams last year.  We better figure out how to catch because this offense looks pedestrian against RHP.

Unavailable due to pitching two nights in a row...warming up, etc.

And Maddon putting him in last night was a dumb shit move also lmao

Lamb is the only guy who hasn't gotten some run yet.  I'm afraid he's going to take ABs away from Vaughn now.

Can’t wait to hear Steve Stone’s excuses for TLR when the White Sox are hovering around  .500 at the all star break.

Not only is he bad, but he looks worse than usual.

We suck again.

It legitimately seems as if TLR doesn't realize Leury is a platoon player. He cannot hit RHP at all.

He’s not even a platoon player. He’s a good guy to have on the bench when you need him

Spent all their money on Dyson.

Like I said to the other guy, Maddon is a dumb for having Raisel come in last night in a non save situation. We had so many other options.  Our bullpen actually isn't weak this year. We have options.

Yeah wtf. 2nd game this series Leury hit in the 9th.

Maybe he's letting him sink or swim.  I dunno.  Some managers are like that.  Ozzie was like that.  I remember him putting protoypical righty specialist Ehren Wassermann out there for multiple innings against both sides of the plate just to make his point.  Maybe TLR is doing something like that.  Who knows?

Yermin is obviously looking great but the lineup just isn’t very intimidating on paper.

Evan Marshall was a one year wonder. Dude will likely be out of baseball in two years.

Which is why losing Eloy is so tough, because he was one of our few RH hitters that are still really good against RHP.

Except he had two good years

Who had Leury Garcia playing parts of nine seasons with Sox when they traded Rios? It’s kind of unbelievable.

Shocking. Who could have possibly foreseen a 78 year old that's been out of the dugout for 10 years struggling with things like this?

Him being the longest tenured player on the team is pretty mind-blowing.

He’s been good for two years though

Marshall took the loss in Game 3 last year as well...just had a feeling the magic wasn’t going to continue.

The ironic aspect is the changeup was supposed to nullify LHH but Rendon/Walsh touched him up and Heuer should have been called upon.  He’s throwing harder than anyone in our pen out of the gate.

He's been overall a very good bench player, first two games be damned.  I'm not sure why he's getting clutch ABs tho when he's clearly struggling.  Can't explain that one.

Would rather have a Dyson vacuum cleaner...

With the last 2 games Moncada has had, maybe he will be out there tomorrow.
