That has something to do with the players we have injured. The bottom half of the order is pretty weak right now but that can change if we can get Engel back and make some minor tweaks to the lineup. Also re: the depth: so who is going to help the Sox out by giving them all these really good young players like an excellent SS behind TA? Remember we actually had 2, Hahn traded both for Samardzija and the ghost of James Shields, and IIRC took Burdi with the pick from Samardzija. He's also the same guy that gave DK 4 years guaranteed, for example, and I'm a lot more worried about that one that Cease here on April 4th in his first full 162 game season.
