Tonight's the last late game for 5 months.

  • Look, Madrigal has been bad. But if you’re already at ‘it’s time to cut bait and bring in ROUGNED ODOR’ you need to step off the ledge.

Wow I've never seen a change up shatter a bat like that.

Does Gio's velocity look down?

Madrigals little legs just make him look like he’s running in place.

Pitching to a catcher not named James McCann will do that do you.

madrigal sucks.  NEVER DRAFT FOR SUPPOSED NEED.  FFS.  Imagine Kelenic on this squad.

Not sure if he'll have a single barrel to his credit before leaving baseball in the next few years.

Also, the Sox had a much greater need for corner outfield the past few years. Just sad all around.

Happy to eat crow on Collins starting today. Nice poke!!!

Same lol

That's an 80 grade change-up from Gio. Good luck ever hitting that.

Yes the first fastball at 91 that inning was weird. I don't think I've seen him at 91 since 2018.

Mariners crew in love with Giolito, and why not?

Anyone else take the runline for this game?

Took Sox -1 & Over 6

Also have a couple parlays still alive that have the Sox -1

Pretty much always betting the Sox against lefties lol

You just can’t play him against LHP :)

Collins looks the part too. Hitting ball well and on that HR he stayed back and creamed it.  When you combine that with his propensity to draw a walk - I think he's going to pan out too.

Not even close to hitting him. This is how the Pirates looked against him....just saying

He was extra amped up on opening day.

That changeup is something else.

Gio is cookin'!

As I noted in spring, Collins' swing is transformed.  He's short and quick.

He gawn! Enjoy this club boys!

Cutting the strikeouts in ST was a big deal for him, too. His approach looks dramatically different at the plate right now. Super encouraging to see.

Without looking, guess which asshole in baseball picked another fight tonight?
