If we put the Keuchel, Grandal, Bummer and Jimenez contracts on waivers, wonder how many takers there would be to assume or absorb 100% the responsibility for those current deals? Jimenez for sur

This is 1 of the worst posts I’ve seen on an internet message board in my life. You should be ashamed of yourself for that distinction

I think you're overestimating the risk tolerance on the Grandal deal...

Bummer, yeah, it's probably a temporary blip, he's throwing 96-98 so he SHOULD be fine.

I was mainly taken back a little bit when you suggested Moncada and Robert were iffy

Depends, would teams have to choose between assuming or absorbing or could they do both?

See Alex Rios claim...

Garcia is terrible! Send him Schaumburg and bring up Gavin Sheets.

It feels like Len just knew Leury would make an out..."i have talked to people about the 3 man minimum...lazy fly ball by Garcia...and they think..."

Len wanted to do radio instead of Tv, I wouldn’t waste time falling in love with the idea of him in the booth

The Pirates and any team in the NL West other than LAD and SDP might disagree.

Rangers or Orioles.  Marlins?

I’d rather see a pitcher bat right now than Leury

this shit is so sad,

That 7-8-9 display of hitting, is a thing of beauty and pure skill.

This organization cannot help themselves giving away free outs at the bottom of the lineup.....

It’s a joke, they’re treating these games like Spring Training.

TLR waived the white flag in this inning. That was a great opportunity to score if he used pinch hitters. The next 2 innings will likely be Karinchak and Clase. Good luck.

Which was that?

I mean, I guess none of them struck out.  It's the little things.

Somebody needs to go yard quick for the Sox. Sox aint gonna win a battle of the bullpen with Cleveland.

Fuck off Tony.

Well, everyone not named Acuna, Soto, Betts or Trout seems risky right now.

Bellinger, but he's had his own series on injuries to overcome.

Jimenez for sure, because they could buy out of the last two years of options at $6 million.

Even Moncada and Robert are not exactly "sure things."

It has taken Buxton, for example, the better part of 5-6 seasons to put together an MVP quality start to a season.

Grandal has a 400 OBP and a 128 wRC+ as a catcher.

I didn't know you got into improv comedy in your spare time Caufield.

It’s kind of alarming how much more dangerous last year’s lineup seemed

I miss Carlton Fisk.

I'll just take us all the way home and say I miss Ray Schalk.

If there's one thing this roster needs it's another unathletic 1B/DH.

All four of them would be taken. Easily.

mirage. faced the same 4 teams for most of the year.

Bieber is gonna fuck these guys up tomorrow

That would have been a potential disaster with Eloy out there.

Credit to Nick Williams. He's at least played a nice game in LF tonight.
