No he’s a reliever because he’s in the bullpen and doing 1 inning outings as a lefty coming into the 10th inning isn’t going to build his arm up long term.

Pinch hit Vaughn for Williams...he walks.  Yaz follows that up with another walk.  Pinch hit for Lamb with Collins...he homers.  Sox win 3-2.

I’m sure La Russa rolls with Williams & Lamb though.

Again, not hating. I didn't hate on him at all. He clearly has talent. I said that labeling him "untouchable" is ridiculous. There is a clear difference. More people need to actually read stuff and knee-jerk react less.

A guy like that has injury written all over him. If he could help land a Burnes/Castillo/Marquez/etc. you absolutely trade him.

I'm sure they told Crochet to throttle back a little to save his arm the long haul.  I just don't understand why they continue to put such an inexperienced pitcher in during extra innings when the smallest mistakes can cost you game.

Yes. It will. He is only slated for 60-70 innings like a typical reliever.
