Vaughn's approach is good enough to (mostly) avoid swinging at bad pitches, but his bat isn't developed enough to actually hit them.

Maybe when Little Nicky hits puberty one of his teammates will introduce him to pornhub so he can build up that arm strength enough to make a competent throw from halfway between 1st and 2nd over to 1

Gets the job done. Way to go, Nick.

I do love how he just does not strike out....great at bat after that horseshit call on strike 2.

Madrigal baseball IQ just went up on that at bat

Say what you want, Madrigals ability to put bat on ball is nothing short of incredible.

TA!!!! You stud you!

GET THAT MAN SOME SPAGHETTI

Anderson is a beast!

TA!!

This offense is so much better with TA7 in it. Mercy.

Tim is on absolute fire

TA!

Nice catch in the stands...way to go Timmy....winner winner, pasta dinner

It's pretty refreshing to see us actually hit Plesac after he shut us down last year.

That was one of the best at bats I’ve seen from Timmy

I saw the HR and said to myself "Nice. Nice Nice. Tim good." Like I was having a stroke or something.

Anyways, Tim good.

Looks more like a no hitter for Pkesac today. Sox pounding the changeup straight into the ground

It worked!

I’m fairly confident it won’t happen, but man how cool would it be if TA wins an MVP some day.

Apparently the cold does not affect Tim Anderson

Everyone keeps saying the lack of hitting is weather related. Okay, if that's true, and they make the playoffs...Chicago isn't usually very warm in October. They better learn how to hit in the cold.

It might help if they dressed warmer and got comfortable.

Hint: it's not weather.  Jose has a 121 wRC+ for April and May in his career.  It's being old and baseball being a game of life on the margins.

Hint: Jose Abreu is not the only hitter struggling to hit on this team. Although...he is quickly becoming one of the only ones. Guys starting to heat up.

Carlos Rodon looks as comfortable as can be without sleeves...or even an undershirt haha. Maybe he should take the team on some of his hunting trips in the winter...
