That's the thing, the platoon advantage keeps getting referred to as reasons why TLR played Lamb and Williams up in the lineup yet he continues to play Leury vs RHP. He's truly a terrible manager right now.

Not sure why wou’d ever put a key at-bat in Leury’s hands against DET at home.

Play for the big inning.  Mize hasn’t bee particularly good his last two starts.

Also, props to Bennetti for calling out the bunt for what it was. Most announcers don't do that to the home manager.

TLR lineups this season remind me of a hitter who decides whether he’s going to swing before the pitcher even puts both feet on the rubber. Except if the hitter decided that on every damned pitch.

Every “hunch” about Leury turning things around soon...way off.

Just stupid not to play some of our better hitters like Yermin twice today/tonight.

Especially in 7 inning games, you don’t want to give away 4-5 outs with bad players.

We have absorbed a few contracts in the last ten years...guys like Keppinger or Bonifacio, but never for a player with more than $10 million remaining as far as I know.  Would have to double check LaRoche.

But those were mostly bad Hahn FA deals, not players around the organization as long as Garcia.

The only positive of the TLR hire was that I feel like it collectively brought Soxtalk together with their hatred for the signing. 

Poor footwork by Collins.  He was off balance and yanked the throw to the 3rd baseside of the bag.  Now it cost them a run.
