  • Maybe worry about yourself

  • All the hand wringing about Moncada and he's the only player not named Mercedes in the top 20 position players in fWAR. Dude's been a stud lately.

Terrible ABs.

I’m way more pissed at the manager than the loss.  He’s just making so many bad decisions.

Oh well. Get the next two.

Womp Womp, that is that. Not a game most expected a 'better than average' chance of winning, just gotta handle business tomorrow.

Terrible loss but Sox still have best team in the division and at some point will take off.

We have to start getting more power from the outfield.

I just don’t get pinch hitting for Vaughn. That just opens you up to criticism which is entirely avoidable. We’d all rather see Vaughn get ABs instead of Leury.

Lets focus on winning the series. Get them tomorrow and Sunday

Watched the last 3 innings...saw very little offensive effort from Sox.

I get Leury isn’t a power guy, but he did have a great day yesterday and they need baserunners. It wasn’t completely stupid to pinch hit him there.

Leury is not good. What he did yesterday means nothing. Certainly not more than his entire career and this year and beyond. You took out a plus hitter who has been hitting everything he makes contact with hard, for Leury Garcia. It's just a damn joke at this point.

Yikes how do you lose to another under .500 team

Nah, it does wonders for his confidence to pinch hit a guy with a lower batting average and OPS than him.

wonder if Tony even looked it up to see righties hit the pitcher better?

I wonder if this will be Tony's first explosion when media asks him about batting for Vaughn. They know why he did it but have to ask. Tony wanted to move the line with singles then have Timmy hit a gapper.

go get em tomorrow

Because ultimately we are still the same team for all intents and purposes.

Gotta play better against Cleveland....don't need them having our # like the end of last season.

I mean doing that is about as bad as batting abreu 4th

Yeah. It's very concerning that we aren't hitting as many homers as we should. Does our entire outfield even have more than 5 HR's combined?

That's 1 of very many elements of it.

Maybe because the best pitcher in baseball was pitching?  Jesus

Vaughn was having a tough day and Garcia had a good day yesterday.

I am not a fan of that move but it is what it is.

Nice to see Bummer and Foster do well and Dallas settle down.

I honestly think Karinchak is better than this guy. Not sure why Tito has him closing.

Both these dudes are better than anyone in the Sox bullpen. Crazy how good pitching just grows on trees in Cleveland

Ha, you’re either trolling or as bad as all of us.  There’s a better chance of Madrigal hitting a homer than Abreu ever getting moved down.

Collins had an even better day and can tie the game up.  Lamb at least has some power. You’re not going to get 4-5 hits in an inning off a guy like that.
