5/2 Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland 1:10 PM

Velocity off the plate, secondary stuff in on his hands...seems to be plan of attack against TA.

The opposite for most big league hitters, obviously.

It's always funny to see you stan for larussa over and over again.

Vaughn had 2 of the 4 hits. That should earn him some time off.

Yes, and they should fine them. I agree with that. It's not complicated. Most guys are fined.

I've had jobs where if you didn't clock in on time they sent you home. I really don't have an issue sitting a guy who is a repeat offender at being late. It's all about accountability.

Even Joe Maddon the most lax manager only had 2 rules, play hard and show up on time.

Let guys off the hook

Another great inning.  Smh

OMG Madrigal.....

The thing with Yermin being out of the lineup today, too, is that we might not see him until Friday.  Maybe a PH appearance in Cincinnati.

With all the angst in this thread you‘d never guess that a 6-3 homestand is the worst that can happen today

Nicky wanted to join in on the fun.

Thankfully we played the Rangers and Tigers.

It's more about not being able to beat Cleveland. They're not a good team.

Giolito found himself again these last few innings, amazing to see

Giolito looking much better since that dropped pop up.

Glad I went to yesterday's game this weekend.

And then he walks Ramirez on 4 pitches that weren't even close.

Vaughn has only made one play where I felt a more experienced LFer would probably make and that was the double off his glove in Seattle. And even that isn't a routine or easy play. The defense has definitely been surprising.

And Seattle was the 2nd series of the season and one his first few games in Left.  Its impressive how well he’s adjusted to a totally new position.  There is zero reason he shouldn’t be starting in LF everyday going forward.

Our ace is gasssssed again in the 5th inning.

Rodon isn't pitching today.

Guys are sitting all over the change up

That was a Strike

This is basically a 3 inning game now with the Indians' bullpen.

Im sure this won’t happen, but assuming Lucas goes out for the 6th, it would be smart to have someone warm in the bullpen after that 5th.

Gio pitches out of it again. He's at 85 pitches. I'd give him another inning then hope La Russa doesn't continuously leave him in afterwards after 100+ pitches.

Giolito given up 5 hits in 5 innings and 1 earned run and 7ks and you read soxtalk again and he's been terrible lolol

Especially in light of the fact he has 85 pitches through five, after the ridiculous 114 pitch outing on Tuesday. Time to use the bullpen.
