Offense has been slumping every other game it seems like for two weeks.  Just way too little power in the lineup.

It was a hell of a pitching effort by Gray and then Antone. It’s not like the Sox had much to hit to begin with.

Sure but it’s a lot easier to go right at an offense if only 4 guys in the lineup are a threat to hit it out of the park. Seen plenty of games where Gray doesn’t last more than 6 innings because he starts nibbling.

idk how you have a chance to hit kopech after looking at dallas all day

Last night the offense was on fire. Today it is miserable. I think we all knew after winning 9-0 we'd want some of those runs today. THATS BASEBALL.

Yea its quite the difference in style

umpire screwed that sequence

Last guy he wanted to walk there.

Does Len Kasper have a little edge to him, like Hawk? In terms of getting "testy" at times?

Would like them to score in the top of the 9th. The less we see of the extra inning runner on 2nd bullshit the better. Especially on the road.

Ump is giving Kopech a small zone

I wonder what the odds of Sox winning this game are?

Kopech's control hasn't been real good this outing.

that won't win games Michael, it'll definitely lose em tho

couple close pitches that didn't go his way clearly rattled him

I was hoping he'd be able to go 2 innings if we don't score in the 9th, but now I'm not so sure.

If the Sox are truly a juggernaut, the 3-4-5 in the ninth would explode. Moncada, Abreu, Vaughn, then Grandal. That's allegedly a pretty nice foursome.

Yea a bit but he's not hitting the zone with his offspeed pitches but luckily he got the last out .

Really could use something here.  Otherwise, it is the bottom of the order trying to get a runner in from 2nd if the relief holds

Yoan just missed that
