  • There's no reason for Mendick to hit below Hamilton.

The pedant in me thought "Wow, there's a chance he may throw with his right hand tonight? impressive."

  • Leury 4 for 9 against Happ so of course that’s the game he’s benched

I'd put Kopech ahead of Heuer, but he's also not a regular bullpen arm.

I think Kopech is the best pitcher in that group, but you can't put him first for the reason you gave.

Nope, all 3 used.

He doesn't so it's DFA or let him work through these struggles.

This Law guy looks like Butthead... huh huh... huh huh

Not hearing what the studios guys are saying and hearing Benetti's awkward laugh is so weird.

Still early enough to let him work it out.

Some good breaking balls from this guy

Marshall has knockout stuff. He isn’t going anywhere yet, nor should he. He needs to get his release point back.

I know it’s frustrating to watch, but I guarantee he’s more frustrated.

getting him maximised is the best strategy, not dumping every time he makes us sad.

Especially if there isn’t an obvious replacement in AAA. Just make him the mop up guy and look for upgrades

Hamilton now trailing Eaton by only 26 OPS points, .657 to .683.

Thank god the Sox have a big lead. Vaughn can actually stay out there.

FUCK SHIT PISS ASS!

(Sorry just calling Liam's verbs in the first couple batters)

Arraez jumps around at the plate like he's Juan Soto.

Knockout stuff?   Highly effective, but has lost so much of his command/control/confidence.

Sometimes going down to the minors and getting regular working and getting some perspective with a different pitching coach/tweak in mechanics can work wonders in terms of a season reset.  Take some of the pressure off, remember why you became a baseball player in the first place.

Not sure what Katz can do or suggest here.

Arraez is a spaz

Arraez is so annoying

Tough luck error there

Hit the fucking mound of course.

Agreed. They can always send him on IL stint to give him test or let him work on things. He’ll be valuable if/when he can work things out.

I think he’s a super tough out. Always seems to hit it solid

This dude is not worth 55 million dollars

Stop throwing so many fastballs.

First ML hit off Liam Hendriks. Not bad Larnach, not bad.

Here we go again....SIGH.  Remarkably, Anderson's first error on the season.

Let's hope he doesn't get into one of those rough patches where he commits 4-5 over the span of a couple of weeks.
