5/24 Cardinals vs. White Sox

he keeps shifting on the pitch and continues to be flat-footed when the ball gets hit.  He’s cleaned up some of the dumb errors but he’s still not good defensively

Lynn has been great so far this season. He is just the ultimate workhorse out there. Gives you innings and always keeps you in the game.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Larussa hate is getting out of control. Bunch of fake news being peddled that Hahn wasn't onboard with the Eaton signing and larussa hiring.

We weren’t winning with zero runs anyways, but now we’re wasting pitches from Lynn and will need to go a rocky bullpen even earlier.

If Lynn had to give up hard contact in that situation, that's the exact type of contact that would have worked. I don't know what the hell Tim was doing.

Looks like TA needs to worry about his job instead of the manager's job.

The scouting report says run on our catchers

He never, ever dives

And our pitchers

Can we score?

Sure looks like a nice crowd. Would be cool to give them some offense to be excited about.

Ways to fail: Rely on your starting pitching to win the game.  Don’t worry about offense.

You are talking about two rookies who will have ups and downs and Grandal who frankly doesn’t hit.

Who are the 2 rookies?

I'm not talking about "Grandal who frankly doesn't hit." You're implying that he was brought here to not hit, like we should expect ~13 hits in the first 7 weeks of the season. He was FRANKLY brought here to hit and he isn't. Abreu isn't hitting. Vaughn isn't hitting. Anderson isn't hitting. All 4 of those guys (plus I guess 1 of those 2 "rookies" in Madrigal) aren't doing anything. Garcia blows. Eaton sucks. etc etc. But they aren't going to win dick if Madrigal, Abreu, Vaughn, Grandal and Anderson keep hitting this way

Call it what it is, TA has been dogass for a week now.

Need a bomb from Jose, Yermin, Yasmani, or Vaughn.

Yermin and Nick are clearly the 2 rookies. Oh let’s not forgot Vaughn.

No your wrong unless you work in the front office and you dont

If "your" thinking La Russa and Reinsdorf aren't the 2 most powerful men in the organization, "your" wrong

Lmao. Are we now arguing that Hahn isn't responsible for putting together this team?

I know this team will be streaky, especially missing two key offensive pieces.  But this streak of horrendous hitting is getting old.

we havent scored against a starting pitcher in 24 innings... thats just sad and pathetic

So much for our ability to hit lefties huh.

Not deep enough

Jose missed it.

What is this crowd watching...that wasn't close.

And Abreu, Anderson, Grandal?

You're making excuses for Madrigal being a rookie. Stop. He was a horrible pick at #4 and if he's not hitting .315+ he's useless. He really should be hitting a lot better than he is and he isn't. Again you're blaming the lineup. There's no excuse for Madrigal, Abreu, Anderson and Grandal to be hitting the way that they are

Since TLR told Yermin to stop trying,  our offense has scored 11 runs in 51 innings, working out to a 1.94 era.
