Guys, we are in first place the end of May and are about to sweep another first place team. Let that sink in....think about the last 10-12 years of shitty baseball, and just relish these days we have

Doesn't matter what the Cubs do. They are not good enough to win anything major. Focus on the Sox and regaining the best record in the AL.

That was a buzzkill

what bad luck and bad baserunning.

Eaton out at home.  UGH.

unfortunate, but i guess it balanced out

Gant continues to have a horseshoe up his ass

Now I see why Gant has a 2 ERA lol

Poor jump off 3rd, good throw on the money.

Inning should have been over the play before that. We got lucky Yermin even got to hit in the 1st.

Wonder what the exit velocity was on that one.

That sucked

If Adam Eaton isn't fast enough anymore to score on that play, he loses tremendous value from his game for this team.

Major knee injury will do that.

92.7. xBA of .510. Yermin hit it well, just in the wrong spot.

Whoa, double vision

he's 87th percentile in sprint speed.  It was a good throw, credit the defense.  That said, no reason to run there imo.

Since when are they playing the Metal Gear Solid alert sound at the ball park? Someone has to be a huge nerd there and I love it ?

My friend has had both the MGS alert sound effect and the 'Hey, Listen!' from Zelda as text tones on his phone, so great.

I'm actually surprised he's that fast. I never thought he was extremely fast before, even in his first go around with us.

He Gone

That slider was absolute filth

Rodon is filthy.

He Gone
