Guys, we are in first place the end of May and are about to sweep another first place team. Let that sink in....think about the last 10-12 years of shitty baseball, and just relish these days we have

Doesn't matter what the Cubs do. They are not good enough to win anything major. Focus on the Sox and regaining the best record in the AL.

Carlos threw every pitch right down the middle to the last batter and he couldn't touch him.

Cards had no chance that inning.

didnt like that Gant has no control and then jose and yermin both swing at the first pitch...

I love how fast Carlos has been working.

It’s like a Buehrle with A+ stuff

When you’re changing speeds like that and not tipping pitches, you have to be a hell of a hitter to catch up. Still scary to throw middle middle with a fastball tho, given that’s the pitch most guys will sit on

Yermin hit it pretty hard though. Just tough luck.

They were both meatballs if I recall correctly. Could be wrong tho

Yeah I had a feeling we were gonna bail him out after he threw 8 out of 9 balls. At least Yermin hit his ball pretty well.

Vaughn just missed it

Took a perfect throw to nail Eaton. If you never get thrown out at home you aren't being aggressive enough.

Damn AV juuuuust got under a hanger

AV just missed a dinger

Nah the one to Jose was a sinker in on his hands. I'm sure Jose read that as fastball inside and it sunk in on him.

No problem with Yermin swinging, that ball was right down the middle.

Baron’s gonna love that bunt attempt. Good god that was horrible.

Great bunt

why did Collins bunt?

Zack...what are you doing?

Why is Collins bunting there??

what the hell was that?

Those guys are RBI guys.  They don’t like to take balls.

That was the rare “bunt into the shift” approach

WTF was that bunt?
