Guys, we are in first place the end of May and are about to sweep another first place team. Let that sink in....think about the last 10-12 years of shitty baseball, and just relish these days we have

I mean really, who cares about this sort of shit these days?

Doesn't matter what the Cubs do. They are not good enough to win anything major. Focus on the Sox and regaining the best record in the AL.

My opinion is most baseball players years are a vascillation between feast and famine and Yermin is likely to just be in famine right now and not a DFA candidate but that's just me.

This time I think they were also trying to avoid a DP, and with Moncada and Abreu coming up you figure you can score.

The likelihood of hitting into a double play is way lower than you think

Lol Rodon wants some Gold Glove looks too

We're not in a place where we can afford to DFA Yermin even if he has a .600 OPS in May.

Carlos busting out the Eloy look to Jose

The key at bat was Yoan's, he just needed to make contact to at least tie the game and he whiffed, Yermin needed a single so I'm not gonna get upset at him, no hitter in MLB history ever came through the clutch 100% of the time...

The chance of Yoan striking out is way higher, correct

Not right now atleast. In August with Eloy and Robert. Probably.

I'm surprised Eaton's sprint speed is right in his norms, feels like he's slowed down a lot recently.

take 1st base b****.  I hate the armor.

Eaton is hitting 2nd. It's the third inning. You decreased your expected runs scored with the bunt. It was dumb

Eaton is hitting around the Mendoza line.  If he was hitting better maybe then.

LETS GET SOME RUNS

Regression is real. He is still a positive overall and will figure a few things out. Adjustments are always a thing in baseball.

or not, pitchers make adjustments too.

I feel like we're winning this game...but we're not.

Sox have been hitting into many double plays this season, as they are above average in hitting ground balls.

Vaughn has been just under 2 fly balls today.

*sigh* another just missed it.

this game is screaming 2-1 or 3-1 loss right now

This must be how facing Cease feels (minus this year).

Some pretty bad ABs from Zach today.
