Why do we always go to our three worst relievers in these situations?

If anything, our best relievers would HOPEFULLY make it easier to win a game we're absolutely supposed to win.

Thanks.  Guess I should've been searching for "web gem" instead of "horrific injury"

Whoever they add I just hope they can lay down a couple of strategic successful bunts every game

Judging by the reactions you‘d think the Orioles batted around in the first inning

Sure...he isn't getting out of this inning.

Sure about that?

??? 107 pitches

Stick with that slider

HE GONE

He Gone!

Really rolling the dice with Cease

Hell of a job by Dylan to get out of that.

What an outing by Cease.

Hell yeah!  Ballsy inning by Cease.  Slider was sensational tonight.

Sorry excuse for an offense better put a run or two up here

Both teams have 1st and 2nd with no outs and don't score. How pathetic.

Can’t believe he got out of that. Hopefully we can finally tear into this 89 mph flamethrower

That was probably one of the best sliders.

Stupid LaRussa, why did he leave him in....

29 swings and misses for Cease. Even though he looked bad at times, he had a great slider tonight.

Big boys coming up this inning. Get a damn run...or 3

Think most have been asking for LaRussa to give Cease a chance to work out of things multiple times this year, glad he did this time. Now he better not be throwing 110 pitches next time.

Apparently he hadn't gone over 100 pitches all year. Gutsy performance from him.

Nope

The starting pitching is what’s keeping us in the games right now. It’s the offense that’s not scoring enough runs.

We scored 1 off Zimmermann, who had a 5.5 ERA coming in.

Former high first round draft pick...wasn't it the Yankees?   Maybe getting him confused with someone else...but definitely a 1st rounder.
