Tampa’s lineup is garbage

Crazy that they are half a game better despite being in a better division.

Power rankings: https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-power-rankings-after-week-10

1. Rays (1 last week)
The Rays lost one game last week after taking over the top spot, so it’s no surprise they’re back there again. Tampa Bay has won 23 of its past 28 dating back to May 13, outscoring opponents by 86 runs during that stretch. They lead the tough American League East division by three games, and their bullpen leads the AL with a 3.08 ERA, including a 1.59 mark in the past 17 games.

3. White Sox (2)
The White Sox have won 15 of their past 20 games, while their starting pitchers are 11-4 with a 2.85 ERA during that stretch. Carlos Rodón, who carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning vs. the Tigers on Sunday, has a 1.89 ERA this season. It’s second lowest in the AL, behind only teammate Lance Lynn (1.23). Also, entering Sunday’s outing, opponents were hitting just .044 off Rodón’s slider.

I wouldn't call their lineup garbage. They win the way a lot of good teams win, pitching defense ( especially in the OF ) and just enough power. They have out homered the Sox by 13 and 17 more Total bases. It's probably equal or better then the Sox offense considering the Rays face better pitching in the AL East than we do in the Central.

How is this team good every year?

Balanced lineup. pitching and defense, great talent evaluation.

I keep saying Larussa can't make a worse lineup.. But by golly, he finds a way.

What in gods name is going on? Moncada just had an off day and then you put Garcia 3rd?!?!? Is he drunk? Or just trying to see how long he can go making crazy lineups?

Never thought I'd see a day during our window where Brian Goodwin and Leury Garcia bat 2nd and 3rd against the Tampa Bay Rays in mid June when we are 41-24.

He's gotta be DTD. Even if he is, where is Lamb?

Either moncada is hurt or his 0-3 with 2 ks against Glasnow is enough analytical data for Tony to trot out freaking Leury at 3rd. What. The. Hell?

Are we sure this wasn't a type-o? Moncada was resting yesterday or the day prior just for a day off, allegedly

Literally laughed out loud seeing Leury in the three hole.

This is Leury's first major league start, possibly first at any level, batting third.

I’ll just skip this one if that’s the lineup. Just ridiculous

Even Lynn has to be wondering wtf.

And why not bat Grandal 3rd?

LOL I love how the White Sox twitter tweeted out the Eloy news then a minute later the crazy ass lineup.

And Lamb should be at 3B. He honestly felt like insurance for Moncada when they signed him having no experience in the outfield.

Way more concerned about Yoan’s health than Leury batting 3rd. Also not a fan of Vaughn over Lamb against Glasnow.
