Because Carlos Rodon has earned his choice of catcher.

I guess same as Giolito.  We can’t afford having Collins in 40% of our games regardless.

He's just not that good.  Sox are very weak at the corners.  Weak roster.

In a lot of circumstances, sure. But with how badly the lineup has been struggling the Sox needed all of the help vs LHP they can get.

Hard to believe the Sox are 14 over .500 with this lineup and iffy relievers. Injuries have decimated this team. I miss Madrigal too.

A 113 wRC+ would look awfully good in RF right about now.

I'm old enough to remember when people thought Madrigal was only playing ahead of Mendick because of draft pedigree.

Pitchers hate throwing to Grandal. It's been that way for a year and a half now.

I miss the Tim Anderson that killed LHP

For the first time in like 3 years the BABIP gods aren't smiling on TA

Have a game Tim...god everyone is in a slump right now.

0 faith in any hitters

Team just hits entirely too many ground balls

Hitting is awful and starting pitching is regressing

Another double play! Let’s hit and run more. Make the defense move. We hit too many grounders.  Open up more infield holes with hit and run!

This team is getting closer to the danger zone of being boring and unwatchable.

Well the first two n half months was fun.

32k in attendance. Not bad. Maybe Jerry will open the check book and get us some actual ML players.

Offense is definitely boring. Pitching has been fun to watch

No joy in Mudville tonight.

It's already there.

Great PA by Goodwin.

TLR should help TA in these situations calling for a hit and run opening holes in the infield for TA to hit thru.

Umpire has been the best player for the Sox

This ump must have money on the Sox tonight.
