It just sucks that this team is struggling not because of Burger, Sheets, Hamilton, or even Goodwin and Leury being thrust into every day play.  They’re struggling because of Anderson, Moncada, Abreu, Giolito, Cease, and Keuchel playing some bad baseball overall.

Yep, but especially the starting pitching, Kuechel was given multiple run leads twice and almost immediately proceeded to blow them, then Gio failed to step up and Cease today too. And it's not like they were facing high powered offenses like the Rays or Astros either. Our starting pitching has got to be much better to give our inconsistent offense a chance.

I’m only feeling good about Lynn and Rodon starts right now.

Can’t believe there were some excited for Fry to be brought back

Fry had a great first inning back and then TLR tried to push a 2nd inning! Gah.

Not saying hes going to be good. But wasn't he decent a couple years ago? Anything's possible with relievers.

This looks like a team that's about to collapse after the ASB. It feels like they're hanging by a thread despite the 6 game lead.

It’s all up to Jimenez, Robert, and whatever checkbook Hahn is allowed to use.

Pitching was due to come back to reality at some point…but normally another aspect of the team would bounce back.

Feels more like 2006 second half approaching, or 2008 without Quentin…except there are no teams of the quality of Minnesota and Detroit those years.

I think that between the Sox and Cleveland, whichever team gets healthy first, wins the division. The other stays home. Plesac is returning after the ASB and if Bieber comes back and is good before Robert gets back that's it.

The ALC has turned into a war of attrition.
