If there was ever a game to see how Lopez looks in relief this is it.

  • Let's fuckin go!! Feels like it's been an eternity. Baseball seriously becomes such a staple of your life, it's just expected that there'll be a Sox game on that night so when we get a few off-days in

Hoping the Sox don't get swept again by the Astros. The Astros are the best team in the American League this year by a fairly wide margin.

There's still time to sell Lynn and Rodon. Looks what a crappy player like Joc got. Lynn and Rodon can net at least a top 100 guy, each

We really want to instigate this debate when everyone’s in a sour mood?

Anybody but Ruiz, even Foster has been better lately.

100 percent wrong

Seems like Ruiz doesn’t get anyone out now

His peripherals were never good and now we’re seeing the recession come.  If Bummer can’t figure his shit out soon, then we definitely need two relievers.

Dear Rick Hahn,

Get some bullpen help and retire those cool City uniforms.

Sincerely,

A Concerned Citizen.

That escalated quickly.

Houston's weakest part of the team is their middle relief. In pretty much every game this year, we haven't gotten to hit off them cause their starters seemingly dominate us for 7 innings every time out.

Why was Ruiz in the game? He is our worst clutch pitcher..  Our bullpen should have been  rested. Where was Kopech, Crochet, COdy?

Heuer was the 1st reliever in . Kopech and Crichet cannot pitch in every game either ahead or behind and La Russa prefers to use them when ahead most of the time. He know's we don't have the bats tp cpme from behind that often.

Goodwin had a nice run

There are so few hitters in this lineup you expect to actually hit quality RHP.

Cleveland might get swept by Oakland. So if we get swept we may still be okay.

We can't let our feelings get in the way of a serious discussion that we must have.

Lance fucking Mccullars

Thats ok....get your glory now

I want this guy in playoffs

I thought I read he is starting tomorrow?

Goodwin has no chance whatsoever against McCullers.  Why is he batting cleanup?

Not a good combination of being wild and then not able to close it out with two strikes on the batter plus not getting the first batter you face out

I’ll ask Tony about it

Bah the odds of this team making the playoffs are almost 100%.

The question the rest of the year is how to be ready for Houston and Boston in October.

The same appears to be true for everyone in the lineup except TA and Moncada.

I think good defensive positioning could have turned Brantley and Tucker's singles into outs.

Shifts are poor sportsmanship. There are things more important than winning.

Seems Bieber might be at least a month away…if CLE is 12+ back then, they probably shut him down for the rest of the season.

Who else do you go to there?  Lopez?  Crochet?  Kopech?   Isn’t Michael starting Monday?

anyone but ruiz is the answer.

And Crochet has been somewhere between pretty good and really good but rarely 100% dominant.

Who is 100% dominant ? That would be perfection and no one is that. Hope that's not what you are expecting.

Rey Lo in the House!!!

Glad I stuck it out.

Not a good answer.
