Not all the games are of equal importance the way the division has shaken out.  Beating the Astros matter.  Potentially losing a game to the Twins has no importance.

Other way around.   Beating your division is the most important thing. Especially since they are a bad division.   If you have the lead against Houston with an entirely full strength bullpen there is absolutely no need to pitch Kopech unless you are truly saying every pitcher in that bullpen should be cut bc otherwise what are you paying them to do.
