it ain’t fun to Lose but we will be in the layoffs and hopefully this bullpen gets figured out. Remember it was a major strength coming off last season. No one could have predicted this.

This! Bummer or heuer need to turn it around.  They can't fix the whole pen in trades.  Others have to get the job done besides the obvious 2 reliable arms.

It's shocking to see the Rays get fleeced like they did for Adames. One of the best SS in baseball was hiding on plain sight because he couldn't pick up the ball playing in the trop.

Burger is probably the guy who goes down when Eloy comes back?

He needs every day reps vs RHP. Badly.

When Burger goes back to AAA, I hope he focuses on hunting fastballs and laying off sliders.  He's never going to hit righties until he learns to pick up the slider.

Yes indeed.  Our 1-4 hitters were  0-15 tonight, that combined with Bummer-Burr pitching did us in tonight.

That was answered.  He should have been taken out after the requisite 3 hitters, but not for Burr. 6 runs in that inning was the result.

Didn't see it, Len was the one who mentioned a likely suspension on radio, would like to see what happened there.

We should start Sheets tomorrow instead of Engel.  We need more pop in the lineup against Brewers top righties, even if we give up some D.

Kinda weird since he decided to get tossed.

This was my takeaway from tonight's game.  We can see the improvement as Vaughn matures into a real ballplayer with each additional game.  Until reinforcements arrive this lineup puts me to sleep,

That's probably his biggest failing this year. He has not protected his players at all this year.  It shouldn't get to the point where guys like TA and Gio are getting thrown out of games, even if he takes that bullet. 

Even Ventura got that, but Ozzie was the best at it.

Yeah, Renteria led the league in getting tossed.   

Can't wait for his enshrinement to Cooperstown.

Instead now TA is looking at a suspension.  Can Tony play SS?

Umpiring has been bad all around baseball although we've been at the top of being screwed. We had no chance tonight either way. Our bullpen also sucks regardless outside of Kopech and Hendriks.
