What do you want? ?

We are all complaining about the bullpen and Kopech is providing a perfect 8th inning set up now.

jeez.

We want the Sox to get good relievers so they can stop wasting Kopech in the bullpen.

Outfield of Vaughn-Engel-Goodwin now too, with Seby behind the plate

jeez.

I want him to get 2-3 innings the next couple weeks and build up arm strength. And I want him to be a dominant starter in the playoffs as either the #3 or 4. And I want him to win a Cy Young next season. This can be accomplished if they trade for a setup man. Otherwise, he is gonna be stuck as the setup guy. That is NOT maximizing his value. Sorry. you just watched that amazing inning...and you don't want to see that for 5-7 innings?

He has #1 starter stuff, stop dreaming about him being a reliever

I said he can be a premier Closer if he wanted to...That would provide longevity for a guy that throws 100moh like it did for Goose Gossage - about 2o years.

Sometimes you learn. sometimes you teach.. But try to listen instead of getting triggered so easily.

In other news, always fun to check in on Charlotte and their .... "pitching".

So far, 6 runs across in the 9th for Jacksonville

Starters pitch 5-7 innings, relievers 1-2.

Failed starters are what relievers are. Kopech isn't a failed starter.

Crochet should be down developing more pitches to start 2nd half of next year as well.

If you get a chance…listen to the KC announcers during Eloy’s blast. Classic! ?

just let kopech finish it soler will have no chance.

This from the guy triggered by Andrew Vaughn.

Even they go get Craig kimbral and someone else, Kopech is not getting stretched out til the offseason

Anyone have a link?

Why is Weakwin still in the game?  Hamilton, Engel and Vaughn will do nicely

Lets see if Liam can hit 101 again and prove he throws harder than Kopech

I want what is best for the white Sox this season to win. If that means Kopech is our 8th inning guy and he stretches out for next season. So be it.

we can’t complain that we have no one in the pen and when we do we complain they aren’t starting. It’s madness

One year at a time.  If the best path to the 2021WS is having Kopech in the 8th -- that's more than ok.  He can switch to starter next year.

4 walks, 3 HBP, 3 singles and a HR so far in the 9th against Charlotte.

Tony is going to keep Kopech and Crochet in his bullpen spiderweb until he is gone.

I've missed that sound @wegner

Hoped that his return would pay immediate dividends...the lineup is so much more dangerous with Eloy.

That’s not going to be his decision

Stone just flat out said Kopech is staying in the pen this year, talking specifically about the playoffs.

Slider gets him here
