I will say what no one else will....Wittgren had great stuff tonight. Painted bottom part of plate perfectly.

because our guys missed very hittable pitches

Liam is ready - that f bomb has him set for the k.

Liam here to say.... Kimbrel is my setup man

Love to witness well executed situational hitting. Bases loaded… nobody out… back… to back… to back strikeouts. Even a (no out) conventional double play adds another insurance run.    To witness three (3) straight WS batters unable to (EVEN ONCE) put the ball in play (with the bags packed) is inexcusable.

Best curve Liam has thrown as a sox

We will be on baseball reddit for committing the NOBLETIGER.

Can we commit it if we scored with the bases loaded though?

How bout just shut up and watch the best closer in baseball win us a ballgame

Liam is angry

Well, this game might likely become more known as the one that galvanized everyone around LaRussa…and not for those three K’s with bases loaded.

No fastballs to Jose!

OK, this Liam is WAY more fun to watch, than the one in KC.

I'm very happy with how this is going but the Sox need to stop stranding so many damn runners on base.

Liam is on a mission tonight.

Absolute FILTH

Shit like that pisses me off like no other. Professional hitters - don’t look with two strikes. Hate the whole don’t shorten up approach with two strikes anyway. Baseball players are more talented today - but their fundamentals at the plate are shit.

OK, can we not throw it there to him again, please? NO FASTBALLS.

Just gave them some hope in the 9th after those awful at bats

Sheets at bat was awful.  Swung at 2 balls over his head and then took a third strike that had all the zone.  Moncada also took a 3rd strike with the bases loaded. Hamilton swung at a ball over his head to KO as well.  That is why I was not too thrilled to see Madrigal go.  We need more guys that put the ball in play.
