Man I was really hoping that MVP would propel Abreu to another sterling season.

1.1 less fWAR in 161 more PA's. Tough year for the big guy.

Last year looks like an enormous outlier if you look at his last 4 years in totality. He's a very consistent 115 wRC+ guy that comes in slightly below 2 WAR. Which, is... fine, I guess.

Would be nice if Jose could start hitting again

Remember when he was MVP?  That was awesome.

Why can’t this team solve Bubic.?

I think if you're Dozier, it's pretty obvious you're gonna get a slider.

I'm sure if we were hitting better as whole, we would. Just remember that we didn't score more than 2 runs off of any KC starter last week.

Cease is so inconsistent batter to batter, it amazes me

Definitely. This year is much more in line with his career. You just never know if the added confidence of an MVP award, kinda like Jermaine Dye 2006 after winning the World Series / World Series MVP, helps you put up a big year.

Nice comeback from 3-0.

Our offenses biggest problem is the guys that are not supposed to be the problem continue to be the problem

Ump immediately checked Cease's hat after that inning...

He's getting pre-crackdown spin rates right now.

Andrew Vaughn and Adam Engel should consider hits, if not extra base hits

Second life for Adam

Bubic is up over 150 RPM's from his seasonal averages too! I'm sure we aren't the only people wondering what's going on with both pitchers right now

Dozier is insane on defense.

Engel seems like he’s lost a step

Bubic is so underwhelming for someone with his pedigree. The Sox should be teeing off on him.

Damn

If you take out his outings against us, his numbers are probably really bad.

Groundouts to the left side, who doesn’t love it

Hell of an AB YoYo

Yoan looks as bad as ever. There are some alarming trends happening with him.
