The lineup sucks, his velocity is down and the ump sucks.  I beat everyone to it.  Enjoy the game.

Dude is in his second full season.  He's still learning at the big league level.  He's made a lot of progress.  It just takes time.  It took Garland time.

We gave up 5 years of Heuer and 5 years of Madrigal for this

Time to work through it . . . but he better work through it.

The greatest back end of the bullpen ever sucks.

It's almost like... investing huge money and capital for relievers is... dumb. Who knew?

Well, guy who is 100% a closer, in the 8th inning + White Sox 8th inning = debacle.

Our pen is a jinx.

You can put Lee Smith and rollie fingers and they would suck

Cause he's good at hitting those too. Judge is just a really good hitter, but clearly not as good as we're making him look.

Right now he's on anything on the outer half.  If he's going to beat Kimbrel, it has to be on the curve.

Don't see that often from Hernandez.

17 degree launch angle for a homer is rare, especially to CF.

Here we go again with the issues of taking a closer and putting him into an unfamiliar role.

Sure, it was a terrible pitch, but it's just a completely different mentality in a tie game in the 8th.

I think that ball hit the lip of the grass.

We have 2 elite closer who need the perfect conditions to not give up runs. We’re screwed

Here for your gold star?

I'd throw Judge some chin music next at bat.

Score late again

This excuse is complete garbage. Then why the hell did we trade so much for him?

The next time Kenny and Hahn look at each other and agree on the one person they'd really want to have . . .

Maybe let someone else decide.

Agreed. But bust his ass inside with fastballs and then go away. I will take my chances.

If you hit him its not the end of the world

It sure as hell feels that way. We were supposed to be the best bullpen in the league with Hendriks. Now we add Kimbrel and we're somehow worse lol.

Lol, and there are two outings now.

Running out of chances to prove the value now.

Lol, as if regular season matters.

Running out of chances to understand the point of the trade.

maybe the Sox don't think they traded much for him?

because they took a career closer (who was adamant a few years ago about staying a closer) and are trying to make him a set-up man.

I would argue the heart of the Yankees lineup would warrant your better relief pitcher/ closer. He failed just that simple.

Are you here to defend kimbrel endlessly despite not deserving a lick of it?

I'm here to call out an absurd investment that never made sense.

Kimbrel has sucked so far

Because NOBODY was getting the job done in the 8th and there was nobody in the minors...

He did it in the 8th against Cleveland two weeks ago.  Judge is hitting out of this planet right now.  He made a bad pitch.  Luckily, the Yankees bullpen is a blackhole of suck right now for them.
