I see that as preferring rest and health over going all in for home advantage, which is different than saying home field doesn’t matter at all.
That said, there seems to be a lot of folks in the “they will flip a switch and I know it as fact” camp, so who knows.

yes, there is a difference between saying it doesn't matter at all and putting too much importance on it.  If postseason success hinges on getting home field advantage I don't like your chances anyways.
