I'm sure the Sox run differential vs bad teams this year is outrageously good. You can't win every game by 10 runs.

Jimmy Piersall used to call it playing "loosey goosey" when they do this late in the year when they have nothing to lose and no pressure. Of course he would always be using the term to refer to the Sox.
