Lynn on IL, Mendick back

Oh crap.  Hopefully this is mostly precautionary.

Lopez' emergence has provided the Sox a luxury in giving starters a rest without a drop in the quality of pitching.  I wouldn't be surprised if each of our starters has a 10 day vacation before the playoffs.  Two down, three to go, with Keuchel being the most obvious next man up.

First thing I thought of. As long as Lopez continues to do well why not.

The dreaded right knee inflammation common in pitcher's. It's just a way to get him rest.

Most of his body has inflamation.

Carbs can do that to a man.

Especially liquid carbs. I can attest, as can TLR

Not to pat myself on the back or anything, but on Saturday the 28th I posted "He'll be next for a stint on that IL list"'

Just get him some PRT and a twelve pack and he'll be as good as new in a couple weeks.

Hamilton will get "healthy" tomorrow with the roster expansion.

Not surprised, called for this his last start. Give him a 10 day break and give him a few starts before the playoffs

There goes my thing that he was using trainer as a euphemism to take a shit in his belt game.

I was this and was delighted.  Lynn needs a breather before things get important.  He's looked beat for a couple of outings now.

More lopez is a good thing... especially if Keuchel keeps sucking. Makes that playoff decision much easier.

He’s probably got the gout.

yeah saw this coming after his last outing.. they want to rest him.

Any excuse to get Mandick back in the lineup. I have really enjoyed watching Reylo.

Get the big...I mean inflamed bastard some time off.

I sure hope they let Mendick keep those frequent flyer miles...he's really racking them up.
