I wasn’t watching or following the game thread, but how bad do we think this injury might be?

Left Hamstring Tightness per Len Kasper. He will be reevaluated tomorrow.

He slipped on damp grass.  That has nothing to do with conditioning.

Sox are swingers should have buried these manly Pirates.

They're definitely not going to fire any member of the Bossard family...and why did it say Kruk came out with TLR?

Obviously not John Kruk...  Katz?  Umpire?

James,  our trainer.

Thanks ump

We must be setting a record for leg injuries in one season.

Lynn, Robert, Madrigal, Engel (multiple times), Kopech, Giolito...probably missing another handful more.

Could it possibly be due to both? Just spitballing here...

Please don't turn to me as the expert on hamstring injuries just because of my injury this week....

Having said that, I can say that based on my experience dealing with them in Soccer, the fact that he could walk off on his own volition and thought he could stay in, likely means he's ok.  I think we collectively as White Sox fans after experiencing the dearly departed Madrigal's injury can now at least tell the difference.

That being said, since Lucas doesn't have a rec league soccer championship game anytime soon, IL him for a week.

It did not sound serious by how Lucas was talking in the postgame....still no reason not to be careful with him.

Put him on the DL for 10days with Lynn and have him miss a start.   Let’s not take any chances and make sure he’s 100% n October.

What about the strength part of strength and conditioning?

It's time to strip Herm of his Head Athletic Trainer Emiretus title. This team can't stay healthy. As the elder statesman of the trainers, he should be embarrassed and ashamed.

The trainers have very little to do with the injuries that happen.  Their job is to deal with injuries after they occur. You are wrong at blaming the trainers for something like this.

Yeah put him on the IL. I like that this saves him a few innings too, who cares if they lose an extra game or two
