Andrew Vaughn is unplayable right now full time. His playoff role should be DH against lefties and pinch hitter against lefties. Engel gets RF because is bat is decent now and he has elite defense wit

Lynn averaged 93 on his fastball last start and he's well above that tonight. I think this is the best and most comfortable he's looked on the mound in quite awhile.

  • But HFA wasn’t important enough to fight for.  Fuck me!

Yes, the proper way to stick it up Detroit's you know what.

Runners on the corners, keep the line moving boys.

Eloy definitely seems to be making some progress at the plate

Moncada lost tonight

Yoan moncada ladies and gents.

And that is your weakest link

Yo cannot have at bats that poor next week. Pathetic end to a promising ending

LOL so fucking awful

That’s turrible

0-6 with RISP, 6 left. Peralta is very fortunate so far.

Been the story for him all season basically.

Moncada weak swings 2k ABs, 5LOB…poor timing for playoffs…

Two pitches three outs.

Interesting. Does not seem sustainable year to year.

OK, Phil Rogers

His xERA and FIP are all in the high 4s. He's not somebody who should have a 3 ERA over a whole season.

Why is Leury hitting ahead of Sheets?  Leury has left 5 on base as well.

Because hall of fame baseball person insight. You can't question it.

I read something a few weeks ago that showed Leury was 3rd in *baseball* in RBI opportunities per plate appearance this year. Maybe it's changed a bit since then, but no matter what, the game always finds Leury up in a big spot

I have never criticized Moncada at SoxTalk, but those last two at bats by him were awful.

Lopez and Keuchel are the only 2 pitchers on the staff that even pretend to pay attention to base runners
