Looked like a whatever was called on the field is what we go with?  So close

Exactly. Biggest flaw in replay. New York should watch it with the best angles available and make the call without any outside opinion.

For the love of god White Sox, win the next two so we can have home field for the ALCS

  • Must be nice to be able to hit homers.

  • One thing to note if the Red Sox hang on and win in 4. That means we'd be the only game on Wednesday if we win game 4, moving the start time from 8:07 PM Central to possibly a normal start time.

Rays D giving this one away

Boston wins.  Really wanted a game 5.

Why don't you put him on first there to keep a force at any base and a double play to get out of the inning as options?

He's horrible, Rays keep winning in spite of him

In the regular season at least.

Shocked at 3-1. I thought Boston had a chance to take it to game 5, but wow Rays defense really folded. Red Sox are absolutely beatable in ALCS. Two games boys...two wins!

Just me, but Boston or Tampa Bay did not have the starting pitching for a 7 game series. I take Lynn and Gio over any two Boston will throw. But I am assuming Sale is not the real Chris Sale since he came back this late in year. Imagine Chris Sale starting Friday night at GRF.

Yes

Be careful what you wish for.

Alex Cora runs his postseason record to 15-4 .789, despite entering the series as an underdog and without HFA.

my understanding is that because the Rays lost this is proof the AL East is trash and they are a bad team just want to make sure I understand good playoff analysis.

No, because they lost to an AL East team. That's not how it works mate.
