Man the amount of energy people are wasting on being hurt about what the announcers were saying is surprising even for Soxtalk.

Gotta wonder what would have happened to the 2016 Cubs had the Mets won the WC game instead of SF.

2016 never happened

Using Crochet for 26 pitches and allowing all of Houston's top lefties to get a free look at Crochet makes 0 sense to me

Crochet looked good

Well now im not so mad that we started lynn cause our offense is putting up a god damn goose egg

Tlr always three steps ahead

Crochet looks calm out there. Like he’s been there before.

Just means he won’t go tomorrow, it would be Bummer

Crochet out there looking filthy. Would be nice to get a couple runs in the 8th and 9th just to let some air out of the balloon.

6 outs left...let's get 6, maybe 7.  If we were to come back in this one, it would be a backbreaker to the Astros.

I know Crede is with me on this one.

I don't see how this team will be able to lift the ball against Framber tomorrow. Hopefully he at least walks the yard, but on paper that doesn't look like a good matchup for this lineup

Should i just tip my cap now….or wait?

tigers broadcast said TLR has run circles around other managers late in games this year fwiw, idk what he was talking about specifically other than bullpen usage in the 6th and getting mgrs to waste bench ABs

He's not burned and he gets the playoff jitters out of the way.

I'd be shocked if he's available tomorrow barring an emergency situation. And now all of Houston's best bats have a fresh look against him.

i don't understand this usage of Crochet at all.

Lynn hasn’t been the same pitcher as he was earlier in season. Not sure about choosing him for opener. Not a time for a seasonal achievement award. Hindsight is 2020, but I think this was in the back of a lot of people’s mind fears

Hey at least Lance can come back on short rest now ?

@SoxAce Jose Ruiz time you dirty SOB

You can dunk on me for saying this after the offense scores like 8 runs tomorrow

I know you’re kidding but I don’t think he should see another game this series lol TLR might be dumb enough to throw him in a game 5 tho

This is going to sound ridiculous, but our guys seem to be working into things a little. Not insignificant.

You can just tell from Lynn’s face that either something was wrong or he was very worried/nervous. Like a deer in the headlights.

If this series goes 5, Lynn may pitch twice but it won't be in game 5. Game 5 is Gio's game.

Let's just all hope that Carlos is good to go. If he is, and he's out there dealing, there may not be anything to worry about when it comes to seeing Lynn twice.

Hopefully a Sunday lineup tomorrow so the guys can be well-rested for game 3

They won't need him tomorrow and what the hell is a fresh look??

Still waiting on them to flip that switch.
