Lucas just couldn't finish hitters off today after getting them to 2 strikes.

Imagine being a manager and knowing you have 5 fresh relievers and 1 who hasn't been successful on back to back and pitched yesterday and say to yourself, let's go get the former in the biggest moment

We can still win this series. We just have to score more runs than Houston and you can take that to the bank

  • Let’s GO! Lots of pressure on Houston. They need to win one of the next three if they want to force a game 5.

So Alvarez is actually a slightly better hitter vs LHP than RHP.

Just pathetic. Now we are going to have Crochet against Alvarez

Ugh.

HOF manager folks

Waiting for a Greg comment on 4-5 hour postseason games..

I already suggested how long this game was gonna be. So much baseball to be played. In fact I have to leave for a bit. ....

TLR is going to get roasted if we lose the lead this inning somehow...

Pitch to contact Lucas. Damn.

5 walks, my god

Time to dial it up garrett

Should have never stayed in after Altuve

its about time

Crochet comes into a jam after back to back walks.  Haven't we learned this lesson yet?

Gio was less than stellar today

he should never have started the inning

Has Crochet pitched back to back games this season???

Hell of an effort from Gio tho. He killed it

whats the point in building a great bullpen if you dont use it

lol no but bigfoot is huge out here. when you're in the mountains man you can see and hear and imagine all sorts of shit. the pnw is an incredible place.

You've never heard that Bigfoot howl?  Damn that's a shame.  It sounds like this "OOOOOOOOAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGHHHHH!"  BTW that's awesome you guys have that cultural element.  I used to be into the native literature stuff.  David Thompson, etc.  I should visit sometime.  I bet its awesome.  BTW I don't agree with TLR pulling Gio just for the record.

Gotta give Houston hitters a lot of credit. They rarely fished for stuff out of the zone with 2 strikes.

Crochet over Bummer the first interesting pen decision...

don't like crochet here.

Idk but he was coming off like 3 days off at least and off day tomorrow. Should be fine.

Giolito battled, but I would have pulled him a batter early.  I absolutely hate bringing guys in with a runner on second and less than two outs.  Outside of the elite guys, always assume they will give up at least one hit in an inning.

That's how you end up like Lynn yesterday

He just said "garden-variety southpaw" everybody needs to flip their shit NOW
