So if there is one thing that we've learned tonight, we need to get to Houston's bullpen early tomorrow.

And it would be great if Rodon could at least go 5 innings.

They’ve scored 3 runs on him...

Both Anderson and Robert had pitches they could murder and I came for BLOOD.

AJ and Wainwright are great. I would love for AJ to replace Stoney in the future. Pay him whatever the hell he wants.

You spelled Jason wrong.

This team is very good to great at home on the South Side

If Rodon has to go out early, use Lynn.

No matter what happens this series, it feels good to kick the Astros ass in one of these games.

All good, I just think his collapse has gone well beyond normal regression and it’s super frustrating because Kimbrel should have been a huge postseason weapon for us even if it was as a massive overpay (which it was).

Well yes its way beyond what anyone could have predicted. I expected some struggles as a set up guy, but still thought hed be more reliable than Heuer for this season.

But hopefully there are more games and he can come up big.

Complete waste of LH tonight

Of course they should move tomorrow's game to evening. Otherwise It's gonna get delayed til evening right? Rain?

You realize there's a full slate of 4 games again on the national t.v. schedule?

Leury in LF.

Those are the correct defensive moves, thank you manager.

If Houston wants to make Liam throw 8 pitches I'll take that too

Well said (even though if it was the *great* Kimbrel from the Cubs the Sox got, I don’t think the cost was that crazy)

I think we got same city taxed giving up both Madrigal and Heuer.  To me, five years of Madrigal should have been more than fair for 1 1/3 years of Kimbrel, even if you factor the huge price elite relievers go for at the deadline.  That being said, I wouldn’t lose sleep over the price if we were getting elite production from him.

Unless he throws like 30 pitches it's fine.

Keep 1st pitch swinging Astros!!!

A nice 5-8 pitch 9th would work well for us, too.

Yes but no. We are good enough to bring it back to Houston.

what are they chanting?

1 pitch 1 out!

Crowd chanting Sox in 5

Hamilton in left would have also been acceptable

What's the difference if they have to sit out a 4 hour rain delay and start the game at 8?
