Felt that way going into the season, now with all these injuries I think it’s 100% accurate.

"Don’t think this team is nearly as good as they believe and other teams in this weak ass division aren’t nearly as bad. "

Again, you came to this conclusion after one game and without KC and Cleveland even playing one game.  Your spring training analysis must have been very thorough.  Come back and tell us after 2 months how good you think the rest of this division is.

Since there have been no complaints yet, batting Legend & Big Energy 6th & 7th ahead of Vaughn & Burger is really fucking stupid.

It was raining, was a drive, hit the top of the fence, plus his natural position is LF.

Liam gave up 2 meatballs. It's his L

That's exactly what it was.  Pollack played well today and he's a good player.  But he is a LFer plugged into RF.

He will figure it out out there. But yeah, that’s a play he’s gotta make.

One option could be to start Engel in right and move Pollock back to his natural position and have Vaughn and Eloy switch off as the DH depending on who’s on the mound.

You are correct, the bullpen stank today.

That doesn't mean that having Pollock in RF rather than doing a switch for defense when your team had the lead wasn't a factor at all.

He's a CF'er, for one.

2, there are walls in every part of the outfield.

It wasn't a great play, also wasn't something worthy of blaming for the game in anyway.

I can almost guarantee that starting Engel and Pollock regularly every day will lead to us wondering how we could possibly have both Engel and Pollock hurt at the same time.

If you're doing a defensive switch, it's not because of Pollock.

I honestly can't tell if this is a serious post, or parody. Hoping for parody.

No, but it would have turned out that it probably sends the game to the 10th. Not exactly one that you can predict, not worth more posts about it than this, but in the end it was a factor.

That’s not gonna happen. Tho AV and Eloy should split LF and DH. Pollock will be fine in RF. It’s one play. He’ll get more comfy.

Well your posts don’t make much sense sometimes either so…..

You're advocating for starting Adam Engel everyday and sitting Eloy/Vaughn, because Engel is slightly better defensively than Pollock. It's not that it makes no sense like some posts, it's crazy.

and for the record Pollock's NATURAL position is CF. People seem to not understand that. Same as Engel.

It doesn’t matter if Pollock was a LF, CF, 3B…whatever. He was camped for that one and missed it. It happens, There are tons of HS kids who if they were in the same position, would have made the catch.

If it were Eloy or Vaughn or Sheets, we would all be saying burn their gloves. Pollock isn’t Clemente out there, but he isn’t that bad. Just horrible timing to botch one.

I liked AJ Hinch decision allowing a lefty  to face  Vaughn with the game on the line. He grooved him.

100pc on Hendriks, not AJP.

Eloy or Vaughn would have had that ball. Pollock was too nonchalant given the situation. You have to look that ball into your glove and  put the game away.

Gary Sanchez just missed a walk off homer for the twins by 3 feet.

Starting Engel isn’t the answer.  Making a defensive sub/switch is.  Engel to RF late, Pollock to LF.  AJ was fine in RF until that weird fluke play at a critical moment.

It hit the wall before it hit Pollock's glove.

I blame Kimbrel. He should get a save for the dodgers and a blown save for the Sox today.
