8 years?!?! 8 YEARS???!?!?!?!

Over the last 100 years, the Sox have won three Playoff Series.

They all happened in 2005.

They didn't make the playoffs in 2001-2002-2003-2004-2006-2007-2009. So it's sort of safe to say that 2005 team had a giant horseshoe up their collective ass.

This franchise has had an embarrassing century.

Preach.

  • We lose cause Yoan couldn't field a routine grounder. They win cause Ramirez made a diving play to save the game. They straight up look better than us.

Worst manager in baseball and it's not even remotely close.

  • Maybe it’s why you don’t keep around the same shitty Front Office that caused you to have to rebuild.

Baseball's a dumb sport for dumb people and I hate it.

See you all tomorrow at 7.

TLR said Graveman wasn't available. He must actually be hurt.

The next ownership group will get rid of all of them.

Not this one.

And 8 RBIs after the 8 th inning.  Something was wrong in our pitching to him.  I guess fastballs down the middle with the bases loaded and with 2 on did not help.  The memo now has to be don’t let Ramirez and Naylor beat us.  Give them the Barry Bonds treatment if needed.  Walk them or at least don’t throw them a strike in game situations.

Hendriks’ fastball was a little out and up (but still a strike for sure), and Burr’s was a slider right down the middle. Neither was a fastball down the middle.

Like clockwork when someone good comes off the IL, a good player must immediately go on it.

Don't think there was any doubt. But sox need to stop playing roster games. Feel like all these guys held out end up on the DL anyways, and we go with a wasted roster spot for days for no reason

Well, he said he was available yesterday so unless he hurt himself in the shower I demand an explanation.  TLR lied.

Fuck TLR…….just said defense is NOT the reason Sox lost……retire tonight

Had the chance to challenge his team and call them out publicly...can't fix a problem if you don't acknowledge there's a problem. 4 fucking errors, 6 of the first 8 runs were unearned...WTF

Tony Larussa “We didn’t lose this game because of our defense”

He looks like he is about to pass out.  Why is this managing our team.

Somebody should have followed up and asked him why we lost. The defense needs to take some fucking accountability.

Jerry wants him to and that's the only opinion that matters

Who was angrier the game lasted an hour longer than they thought, him or Yoan?

Yep, that's concerning.

If he said "we lost because Josh Naylor" that would at least be kind of right.

There is only 1 organization in baseball that would have Tony as the manager, we're just unfortunate enough to be cheering for them

It is the Jurassic Park organization.

they won't risk losing their access.  journalism is dead

I repeat....extra infield tomorrow you friggin geezer....fucking demand better!!!

And your situational hitting is atrocious.

I wonder if the Dodgers ever lost a game like this. They should ask Pollock and Kelly instead of the riveting interview that TLR is.

So now Kelly, Graveman and Lopez are out tomorrow, and Foster likely is as well.  Nothing like three straight games where your bullpen is severely limited.

Who do you think would’ve been a better manager for this team?

I am at a loss for words. What a complete melt down in the 9th inning. At some point we just have to believe we will cash in on those bases loaded situations. Let’s do it tomorrow

Yes it is.  But TLR took the 9 th inning for granted when he brought our least experience MLB pitcher, Banks, in the 9 th. To get the 3 most difficult outs in baseball. I would have preferred Ruiz.

Jerry reinsdorf's son yeah the next ownership?

I'd be shocked if at least one of them, probably Lopez, doesn't go on the IL just to clear a roster spot
