The Upcoming Yankee Series

This should be fun and a great early season test to show if the Sox can compete with what is looking like one of the top teams in the AL. The ballpark should be packed for all 4 games. Really looking forward to seeing how both Cease and Kopech compete against a really tough lineup.

Tanner Banks should be well rested.

So fucking pissed I get kuechel on Saturday. I got prime seats. He better not fuck it up.

Hopefully they strive mightily to not make errors.

Narrator: I still have three more days until I have to say my line.

When Stanton and Judge are both in the lineup together that is a scary team. Gleyber Torres is becoming Mr. Walk Off. Judge  (10 HR) , Rizzo, 9 and Stanton, 7 make our top HR hitters look like little leaguers along with our fielding. Their starting pitching and bull pen have been really good.

But you're right ,should be fun for the Yankee fans.

I hope you're right about the ballpark being packed. It looks like there are alot of unsold seats for this series on ticketmaster.

I hope you got a discount on those tickets.  ??

The Yankees offense is obviously superior to ours right now. Hopefully that will change when we are at full strength down the road. More importantly, the Yankees are 2nd in MLB in pitching at 2.60 ERA and #1 in least errors 9 to our 26, which is last in errors per game.

Other than Kuechel, I am confident Cease and Kopech can step up for the challenge. The concern is our offense which needs to start producing! In the month of May thus far, two key leaders Abreu are 8-37/.216 and 1 home run and Grandal, 5-30/.167 with 0 doubles, 0 home runs and 0 RBI's. This is a huge problem when you consider they are the top two salaries on the Sox.

Finally the bullpen needs to be strong and consistent with no more imploding and giving up leads?

I hope the Sox are ready to step up to this major challenge and not embarrass themselves.

Buehrle B-U-E

Keuchel K-E-U

Now you know.

I'm also pissed about this. Going from planning to see Kopech and instead seeing Keuchel is a major letdown. I'll have to have an extra beer or two before heading into the park.

For the Yankees it’s Luis Gil making his first start of the season, followed by Cole, Montgomery, and Cortes. Tough pitchers the next three days but the weekend guys are lefties.

Playing the Yankees 7 times in the next 12 games, with only the Royals sandwiched in between . i'm thinking that we are going to see what this team is made of.

I find the weather forecasters struggle to get the daily weather right. Having said that, there is an 88% chance of rain Saturday. Hopefully prime seats have a roof over them.

Looks like it might just be rainy in the am. Might be chilly at night though, relatively speaking.

Wonder what hideous thing will happen this weekend. There has to be something

Also going and also pissed it’s Keuchel instead of Kopech. This game could be over after two innings.

Well, I guess I stand corrected! That's one of the best games I've been to in a while! And what a finish!

A series split would be tremendous.
