5/24 Pivetta vs. Cease 7:10

Featured Replies

Bradley 7 for his last 12.   Good God.

Have to pull Cease.  He's not as strong mentally as Giolito IMO.

I saw a clip earlier this year where Harper talked about the possibility of signing with the White Sox. He mentioned specific players by name and said it would have been exciting to play with them. He

  • I really wanted the Sox to step up and sign that superstar when they had the chance and instead they did that bullshit dance with Machado and their own fan base.

  • Amazing how Hahn took a team in good shape with their payroll and turned it into this

Wish the Sox offense would start hitting like this ?

we would have just hit ground balls to a shifted infield.

This is a bad team I'm going to go ahead and say it.

Curse of the Best Rotation in Baseball Thread.

Just like the Curse of the Best Bullpen last year.

Maybe this is our way of getting revenge on the Yankees.

give their archnemesis easy wins.

Yeah we’re getting swept this series with how Boston is swinging these days

Night and day to when they were in Boston.

No point burning through the bullpen now. Leave him in until he gets to 80-90 pitches.

2-0 Twins.  Now Correa starting to heat up.

5 1/2 GB would be the low water mark of the division race.

White Sox have final four months to try to chase down MINNY or at least a WC spot, but not like they drew it up this offseason.

Lynn isn't expected back until around June 12th-15th.

That will be next inning. He is already at 53.

Well, Boston couldn't buy a hit with RISP that series in Fenway.

WHITE SOX (almost) ALWAYS SHIT THE BED after a big emotional series like they just went through in NYC.  Can't blame this one on a big crowd though, looks to be around 20,000ish.

Congrats on extending your league lead in strikeouts Dylan.

Let's get some runs

Has anyone on this board said anything about Pollock's arm?  Dreadful.

Well it could be worse. We could all be in the stands forced to drink ridiculously priced beer.

Sox will be fighting g for that last WC spot. They could be 10 GB by June 3.

What's the average exit velocity so far for Boston, 106-108?

That one was 112.

54 pitches, 6 runs on 7 hits.  YIKES.

This team may force me to drink some more moderately priced beer out my fridge in a moment

That's always been known and generally why he hasn't played right field

who has got the under? 2.5 groundballs this half inning

Already covered.   He NEVER in a million years had the arm for RF, so that entire trade was flawed from the very start considering the fact Jimenez was the planned for LFer at the beginning of the season.

Pivetta stole Cease's talent tonight. Freaky Tuesday.

To me the biggest shocker so far this week (and it's early in Game 2 of the series) is how well the Guardians are playing the Astros in Houston.

That was pathetic by Grandal

Yaz looking washed beyond belief right now.

Or he’s facing a bad lineup

Grandal truly sucks this season.
