Why do we need to bunt Mendick with a man on second and no outs?  Let him swing away.  Sox cannot afford to give outs away when we are not scoring. TLR at it once again.

You knew he was going to be hyped up going against TLR and one of the highest profile games for the Cubs all year.  

This season rates right up there as the most frustrating/disappointing I can remember. The injuries, the lack of hitting by nearly everyone, every last thing that could go wrong has gone wrong. 

 

 

 

TLR has got to go. He’s old, set in his ways and will never change with the times. 

If one team is going to hit a HR I'd wager on the Cubs.

That might be the only way to almost accidentally score the way this offense is going.  At least he can occasionally put it in the seats.

Continues to be a night and day difference for Sox pitchers when Reese catches instead of Grandal. Who cares if he can’t hit if the staff has a 2 ERA when he catches. Not like Grandal is hitting anyways.

Well the only candidates for extension are Cease and Kopech but will JR agree?  Seems they are determined to move in another direction with Giolito.

And Cease still hasn't proven he can be consistently dominant against the really good teams.
