If he keeps hitting, there's no way you can't give him the job. He's been pretty fortunate on his BIP so far, but it does look like he's made an adjustment in his stance that might be helping him this year.

he's always had a decent short quick stroke but he seemed to have problems chasing high heat the last two years. Working some better counts this year.

Of course he hits into the DP.  He’s so freaking slow

AV is so slow

That was a 95 mph high fastball that Vaughn pounded into the ground

Just to admit something for you guys, I bought a new White Sox hat on my birthday, right around July 4 last year. We've been mediocre ever since. I wonder if its the hat. I didn't have it on for the top of the first, put it on for the bottom, and then removed it in the middle of the fourth.

I recently have been switching out my Sox hat when they lose....and I'm rapidly running out of caps......but just ordered the Father's Day 2022 cap....I'm pretty easy to shop for.

Man I wish success in baseball was dependent on lazy ground balls

That looked like it hit the line.

5 straight multi-hit games according to Kasper

Very nice Robert!  That was not a good pitch

The only Sox hat I owned since I was probably 10 was a 2016 Spring Training hat. Loved the batterman one. Felt I needed a standard Sox one. And I possibly can't wear it because its dragging this team down.

Also, please steal, Luis

If Vaughn sacrifices, that’s two runs!

When I saw the Catcher setting up high and in the strike zone I knew something good could be about to happen.

Crick warming, so if Jose would like to hit another two run home run, I would "like" it

So will Tony throw Lynn out there one more inning as "The Pitcher of Record"/

2B has to be Mendick's job to lose.

Zavala out on deck for Burger

Crick up.

Good lord...we’re back to a guy leaving for injury every game again.

He's getting the high pitches about 4% less this year and also cutting down his swing rate on them by 7%. So there is some real change on his approach. He's whiffing on high strikes, but not any chest or face high fastballs.

I think I said last year that Danny has a chance to stick as a starter if he ever learns how to hit high fastballs. It looks like he's learned to lay off them, which is better than what he was doing before.

Holy shit Seby sucks

Impressive

Yeah, why wouldn't you walk Abreu with Zavala on deck?
