Bob got asked this specific question on the radio today. Sounds like KW was listening in.

Wait, so a team with an out of touch 77 year old manager doesn’t have a good locker room?? I’m utterly shocked

  • I know Leury Garcia is definitely in the pro Tony group.

  • I know you never agree with any form of White Sox slander, but it’s amazing your lack of understanding on a topic like this. Do you think Bob Nightengale just….made this up? The same Bob Nighteng

So this is damage control from KW after the fact?

Williams having to address the team tells you how weak Hahn is.

Williams had to come down and do the same with the Drake LaRoche fiasco.

Lance Lynn showing off his team once again.

Starting to dislike that fat fuck.

Maybe miss some fucking bats or bend your fat ass down to play defense.  ?

Let the whole thing explode

KW didn't exactly solve the problem coming down from the C-suite...

What would other players have to gain by telling Bob that. I’m still saying it’s a JR or TLR plant

Bob specifically blamed it on a lack of player leadership. Who would come up with that concept?

You act like the gm has real power here.  In real organizations sure.  No here.

Nice to see Tony has lost the clubhouse to the point where Kenny needs to do this.

Rick negotiates contracts, Kenny flips tables. Everyone knows their roles.

He could always resign.

And probably never rise to the level of GM in any other org.

Had he resigned in ‘20, he probably would have! Already in fact!

The White Sox swamp needs to be drained.

Would you leave those paychecks on the table?

Well, they did until their Clubhouse Leader Drake left the building.

How have the last 2 years affected his long term employment prospects?

Much less than quitting on a team in the middle of the season would.

Of course this is from a fan base that won't quit following the team expecting the guy actually drawing a paycheck from the team to quit.

November 2020 was not in the middle of any season.

As stupid as we all knew it was to hire TLR, baseball pundits mostly celebrated the move.  Hahn resigning then would have looked bad, or at least curious.  Resigning now, falling on his sword amidst a miserable season, and leaving an untenable situation looks better for him IMO than if he left Nov 2020.  I still don’t know if another org hires him to be GM after his long tenure of mediocrity here.  In any other org he would have been out on his ass before the rebuild, so it’s really hard to say.
