Thank god they didn’t extend him.  He’s easily the single most disappointing player on the team.

Rockies are clearly sitting on change with 2 strikes. That last swing from Rogers on the fastball said it all.

Anyone have a theory why Lucas sucks this year?  Did bulking up hurt his mechanics?

Lucas simply has to be better than this, though. I like him but his pitches are bad and badly located

It seems like the guy has either put us in a hole or given back a lead in just about every game this year.

For starters he lost his velocity 

2 starts in a row where Lucas can't get out of the 1st with his team still in the game.

That last hit by Iglesias was on a 91 MPH fastball. Honestly Lucas has been a bit unlucky in his last 2 starts, but a lot of that is the product of the other teams just poking hits against him on his change up. His fastball isn't good enough to make them respect it so they end up sitting on his best pitch.

The Rockies are going to score 10+ this game. Look at the Sox lineup. Do you see them scoring more than 10 runs?

sometimes you think a guy isn't pitching as bad as his numbers but with Lucas it seems like he has been pitching far worse
