Yoan looks nowhere near the electric player he was in 2019. Eloy has been a disappointment.  Robert shows flashes but needs to be way more consistent. Just too much regression, as this is the age they’re supposed to be improving and they’re going the other way.  Reminds me a bit of the last Cubs core after 2016.

They at least had star quality....we have 1/2 or 1/3rd of their total wattage in Anderson and Robert.

When they are actually in the lineup, that is.

Making contact with the umpire and getting multiple game suspensions while trying to compete is the exact opposite of giving a fuck. It’s hurting the team around you because you care about the tantrum

I see it coming....we win just enough to create false illusion we still can sneak in playoffs, so we trade what little trading chips w have in the farm for a past his prime vet who will do nothing for

Mostly because we don’t hit enough homers while our pitching is throwing many gopher balls at home. Simple Sox math.

I hate Sox math

And Hahn offered it so quickly.

Ditto Keuchel.

They only signed Keuchel cause they missed out on Wheeler.

There are differing degrees of fine. I think the Sox will still get very good production from Yoan and likely excellent production from Robert if he can stay on the field. Eloy's ceiling is likely capped for a number of different reasons. But I think, in general, betting on guys in their prime who have a history of good production will be a winning strategy. Even if Yoan & Eloy aren't everything we hoped for, I don't think they'll be total 0s. It's entirely possible that the Sox just get nothing out of Lynn & Grandal for the next year & 1/2 which takes the Sox out of real contender status even if all of the core guys come good.

Signing Wheeler, I'd assume, means they never trade for Lynn. It would have been interesting to know what they could have gotten for Dunning in a different trade.

What an embarrassment lmao

Good lord Gavin...please stop playing him out there.

Play a DH in RF and that's exactly what you deserve

A's putting on a clinic.

Jay Cuda's math would be more interesting.

But that would be negative publicity for the club on their network.

Ok I'll take Gallo for defensive purposes.

I think if you give the 2019 team this pitching staff they're probably better than this team.

For sure

3 games into our 19 game stretch against "easy" opponents and we're 1-2. This is a .500 team.

It’s sad to think that Mendick was probably the second most enjoyable player this year after Cease

Sox slowly creeping back into this one. Good weekend to fire someone.

Yes, but the Sox will still be paying Yoan like he is everything they hoped for.

Pretty much any video recorded by fans for broadcast this year is scaring off even more future Sox followers due to varying degrees of awkwardness/weirdness.

Alex and Ursula Snelius shoutouts were preferable.  Or George with Windy City Limousine.

Vaughn's development as a hitter has been a lot of fun.

At least TIM gave a fuck

Unlike this organization, the manager, and this team

A’s embarrassing us tonight. Just squeezed bunt another run after Sheets couldn’t makes play in RF.  We are looking as the 2 nd worse team in MLB instead of the A’s.

Cueto

Burger before all the errors

Harrison second 40 of first 100.

Ron mostly being proved wrong yet again on Jose Abreu.

If I win that jackpot, I'm going to be the new Alex Snelius.  Giving money for Sox homers should make my $ last forever.

Trevino has less blown saves than Graveman and Liam despite a ERA of 6.6.
