Yup he looked like a different guy back then. He even looked dangerous hitting right handed. Hell probably more dangerous than he was left handed last year.

If COVID really is the primary reason for his regression then he's probably one of the only athletes to suffer that big of a setback from COVID alone. I don't want to just say that Yoan isn't working hard because I don't know the guy, but if I had $50 million of guaranteed money on my contract I sure as hell wouldn't work as hard as I would if I had to earn my money through arbitration. It's just human nature.

The ball used to jump off his bat to the opposite field. Literal foul pole to foul pole power.

  • You hear that? The Royals haven't scored 5 runs since they last played the Sox. LOL

  • Do any of you actually think that this team deserves to be in the post season, even if they somehow end up in it? This team doesn't deserve it, nor fan support. Let management be required to fix the o

I think part of that was the ball.

Yoan went through the perfect storm of MLB changing the ball and getting COVID.

At hitting singles.

Robert needs to put better swings on the ball  if he’s going to swing at first pitch

Andrus seems like he might decide to just quit playing baseball any day soon…

He fits in.

Can we get an extra base hit please !

Lynch losing it

Anybody else feel he should have been on 2nd base after Taylor just quit on the play? If Yoan can score from 1st, Andrus has to be on 2nd on that. Then Harrison's single easily drives him in.

Woah. Thanks ump

Where were pitches 1 and 4?

Lynch getting squeezed a bit there.

Ump trying to let the Sox have a chance.

I remember when Carlos Hernandez baffled our lineup for all of last year. We couldn't touch this guy.

Bases loaded automatic out

Hernandez was one of the best pitchers the Sox faced last year.  This year hasn’t been good for him.

Sox leading seven hits to three lol.

What is going on with Carlos Hernandez? He always looks like Cy Young against us.

We hit singles except when we have guys in scoring position or the bases are loaded.

Like prime Liriano Sabathia Verlander and Johan Santana…

Sox leading the majors in singles.  Too bad we are also one of the slowest running teams playing in the third most homer friendly park.
